"Amethyst Maelstrom" is a Mandelbrot Set fractal zoom video made with the open source FractalShades software, using the "Valensole" colormap along with some extra lighting options.

It uses similar color settings to our two previous videos 'Fractal Abyss' (   • Fractal Abyss - Mandelbrot Fractal Zo...  ) and 'Echoes of Infinity' (   • Echoes of Infinity - Mandelbrot Fract...  ) but zooms into a different location on the Mandelbrot Set.

Zoom Level: 12.0e-22
